Creators of your the learning adventure:
Hey everyone, My name is Kelly Ballock. I am a second year at The University of Georgia. I plan to study Special Education and follow my aunt's foot steps by also becoming teacher. I am from Bethesda, MD and this summer I had the opportunity to work at a preschool with two and three year olds. The experience was incredibly rewarding and it reaffirmed that this is the career I want to be in. After graduating from UGA, my goal is to get a job as an elementary school teacher in an inclusion classroom. This topic was of interest to me because I enjoy the outdoors and want to learn more about the national parks importance in our nation's history.

My name is Sarah McCarthy, and I am a senior at the University of Georgia studying Human Development and Family Sciences, and I hope to pursue a career as an elementary school teacher. I love working with kids and recently spent the summer at a camp in Honesdale, Pennsylvania where I spent seven weeks with sixteen 6-8 year olds and loved every second of it. I enjoy working out and playing soccer, trying out new Pinterest recipes, and spending time with my friends. I love being outside, going hiking, and exploring new places, so I enjoy this topic because it will inform people about our nation's national parks! I think this is important and will be beneficial, for it will help people become active, go outside, explore, learn, and hopefully inspire people to go on adventures.
